وَهَذِهِ مَوَالِيدُ بَنِي نُوحٍ: سَامٌ وَحَامٌ وَيَافَثُ. وَوُلِدَ لَهُمْ بَنُونَ بَعْدَ الطُّوفَانِ. بَنُو يَافَثَ: جُومَرُ

وَمَاجُوجُ وَمَادَاي وَيَاوَانُ وَتُوبَالُ وَمَاشِكُ وَتِيرَاسُ. وَبَنُو جُومَرَ: اشْكَنَازُ وَرِيفَاثُ وَتُوجَرْمَةُ.

وَبَنُو يَاوَانَ: الِيشَةُ وَتَرْشِيشُ وَكِتِّيمُ وَدُودَانِيمُ. مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ تَفَرَّقَتْ جَزَائِرُ الامَمِ بِارَاضِيهِمْ كُلُّ

انْسَانٍ كَلِسَانِهِ حَسَبَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ بِامَمِهِمْ. وَبَنُو حَامٍ: كُوشُ وَمِصْرَايِمُ وَفُوطُ وَكَنْعَانُ. وَبَنُو كُوشَ:

سَبَا وَحَوِيلَةُ وَسَبْتَةُ وَرَعْمَةُ وَسَبْتَكَا. وَبَنُو رَعْمَةَ: شَبَا وَدَدَانُ. وَكُوشُ وَلَدَ نِمْرُودَ الَّذِي ابْتَدَا

يَكُونُ جَبَّارا فِي الارْضِ الَّذِي كَانَ جَبَّارَ صَيْدٍ امَامَ الرَّبِّ. لِذَلِكَ يُقَالُ: «كَنِمْرُودَ جَبَّارُ صَيْدٍ امَامَ

الرَّبِّ». وَكَانَ ابْتِدَاءُ مَمْلَكَتِهِ بَابِلَ وَارَكَ وَاكَّدَ وَكَلْنَةَ فِي ارْضِ شِنْعَارَ. مِنْ تِلْكَ الارْضِ خَرَجَ

اشُّورُ وَبَنَى نِينَوَى وَرَحُوبُوتَ عَيْرَ وَكَالَحَ وَرَسَنَ بَيْنَ نِينَوَى وَكَالَحَ. (هِيَ الْمَدِينَةُ الْكَبِيرَةُ).

وَمِصْرَايِمُ وَلَدَ: لُودِيمَ وَعَنَامِيمَ وَلَهَابِيمَ وَنَفْتُوحِيمَ وَفَتْرُوسِيمَ وَكَسْلُوحِيمَ. (الَّذِينَ خَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ

فِلِشْتِيمُ وَكَفْتُورِيمُ). وَكَنْعَانُ وَلَدَ: صَيْدُونَ بِكْرَهُ وَحِثَّ وَالْيَبُوسِيَّ وَالامُورِيَّ وَالْجِرْجَاشِيَّ

وَالْحِوِّيَّ وَالْعَرْقِيَّ وَالسِّينِيَّ وَالارْوَادِيَّ وَالصَّمَارِيَّ وَالْحَمَاتِيَّ. وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ تَفَرَّقَتْ قَبَائِلُ

الْكَنْعَانِيِّ. وَكَانَتْ تُخُومُ الْكَنْعَانِيِّ مِنْ صَيْدُونَ حِينَمَا تَجِيءُ نَحْوَ جَرَارَ الَى غَزَّةَ وَحِينَمَا تَجِيءُ

نَحْوَ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ وَادْمَةَ وَصَبُويِيمَ الَى لاشَعَ. هَؤُلاءِ بَنُو حَامٍ حَسَبَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ كَالْسِنَتِهِمْ

بِارَاضِيهِمْ وَامَمِهِمْ. وَسَامٌ ابُو كُلِّ بَنِي عَابِرَ اخُو يَافَثَ الْكَبِيرُ وُلِدَ لَهُ ايْضا بَنُونَ. بَنُو سَامَ:

عِيلامُ وَاشُّورُ وَارْفَكْشَادُ وَلُودُ وَارَامُ. وَبَنُو ارَامَ: عُوصُ وَحُولُ وَجَاثَرُ وَمَاشُ. وَارْفَكْشَادُ وَلَدَ

شَالَحَ وَشَالَحُ وَلَدَ عَابِرَ. وَلِعَابِرَ وُلِدَ ابْنَانِ: اسْمُ الْوَاحِدِ فَالَجُ لانَّ فِي ايَّامِهِ قُسِمَتِ الارْضُ.

وَاسْمُ اخِيهِ يَقْطَانُ. وَيَقْطَانُ وَلَدَ الْمُودَادَ وَشَالَفَ وَحَضَرْمَوْتَ وَيَارَحَ وَهَدُورَامَ وَاوزَالَ وَدِقْلَةَ

وَعُوبَالَ وَابِيمَايِلَ وَشَبَا وَاوفِيرَ وَحَوِيلَةَ وَيُوبَابَ. جَمِيعُ هَؤُلاءِ بَنُو يَقْطَانَ. وَكَانَ مَسْكَنُهُمْ مِنْ

مِيشَا حِينَمَا تَجِيءُ نَحْوَ سَفَارَ جَبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ. هَؤُلاءِ بَنُو سَامَ حَسَبَ قَبَائِلِهِمْ كَالْسِنَتِهِمْ بِارَاضِيهِمْ

حَسَبَ امَمِهِمْ. هَؤُلاءِ قَبَائِلُ بَنِي نُوحٍ حَسَبَ مَوَالِيدِهِمْ بِامَمِهِمْ. وَمِنْ هَؤُلاءِ تَفَرَّقَتِ الامَمُ فِي

الارْضِ بَعْدَ الطُّوفَانِ.

Genesis 10

Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood. The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his language, according to their families, into their nations.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan. Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord." And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city). Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim, Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and Caphtorim).

Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth; the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite; the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite; the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were dispersed. And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. These were the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder. The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash. Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber. To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan. Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba, Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan. And their dwelling place was from Mesha as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east. These were the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands, according to their nations. These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood.

Kejadian 10

1 Inilah keturunan Sem, Ham dan Yafet, anak-anak Nuh. Setelah air bah itu lahirlah anak-anak lelaki bagi mereka.

2 Keturunan Yafet ialah Gomer, Magog, Madai, Yawan, Tubal, Mesekh dan Tiras.

3 Keturunan Gomer ialah Askenas, Rifat dan Togarma.

4 Keturunan Yawan ialah Elisa, Tarsis, orang Kitim dan orang Dodanim.

5 Dari mereka inilah berpencar bangsa-bangsa daerah pesisir. Itulah keturunan Yafet, masing-masing di tanahnya, dengan bahasanya sendiri, menurut kaum dan bangsa mereka.

6 Keturunan Ham ialah Kush, Misraim, Put dan Kanaan.

7 Keturunan Kush ialah Seba, Hawila, Sabta, Raema dan Sabtekha; anak-anak Raema ialah Syeba dan Dedan.

8 Kush memperanakkan Nimrod; dialah yang mula-mula sekali orang yang berkuasa di bumi;

9 ia seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN, sebab itu dikatakan orang: ''Seperti Nimrod, seorang pemburu yang gagah perkasa di hadapan TUHAN.''

10 Mula-mula kerajaannya terdiri dari Babel, Erekh, dan Akad, semuanya di tanah Sinear.

11 Dari negeri itu ia pergi ke Asyur, lalu mendirikan Niniwe, Rehobot-Ir, Kalah

12 dan Resen di antara Niniwe dan Kalah; itulah kota besar itu.

13 Misraim memperanakkan orang Ludim, orang Anamim, orang Lehabim, orang Naftuhim,

14 orang Patrusim, orang Kasluhim dan orang Kaftorim; dari mereka inilah berasal orang Filistin.

15 Kanaan memperanakkan Sidon, anak sulungnya, dan Het,

16 serta orang Yebusi, orang Amori dan orang Girgasi;

17 orang Hewi, orang Arki, orang Sini,

18 orang Arwadi, orang Semari dan orang Hamati; kemudian berseraklah kaum-kaum orang Kanaan itu.

19 Daerah orang Kanaan adalah dari Sidon ke arah Gerar sampai ke Gaza, ke arah Sodom, Gomora, Adma dan Zeboim sampai ke Lasa.

20 Itulah keturunan Ham menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka.

21 Lahirlah juga anak-anak bagi Sem, bapa semua anak Eber serta abang Yafet.

22 Keturunan Sem ialah Elam, Asyur, Arpakhsad, Lud dan Aram.

23 Keturunan Aram ialah Us, Hul, Geter dan Mas.

24 Arpakhsad memperanakkan Selah, dan Selah memperanakkan Eber.

25 Bagi Eber lahir dua anak laki-laki; nama yang seorang ialah Peleg, sebab dalam zamannya bumi terbagi, dan nama adiknya ialah Yoktan.

26 Yoktan memperanakkan Almodad, Selef, Hazar-Mawet dan Yerah,

27 Hadoram, Uzal dan Dikla,

28 Obal, Abimael dan Syeba,

29 Ofir, Hawila dan Yobab; itulah semuanya keturunan Yoktan.

30 Daerah kediaman mereka terbentang dari Mesa ke arah Sefar, yaitu pegunungan di sebelah timur.

31 Itulah keturunan Sem, menurut kaum mereka, menurut bahasa mereka, menurut tanah mereka, menurut bangsa mereka.

32 Itulah segala kaum anak-anak Nuh menurut keturunan mereka, menurut bangsa mereka. Dan dari mereka itulah berpencar bangsa-bangsa di bumi setelah air bah itu.

وَبَارَكَ اللهُ نُوحا وَبَنِيهِ وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: «اثْمِرُوا وَاكْثُرُوا وَامْلَاوا الارْضَ. وَلْتَكُنْ خَشْيَتُكُمْ وَرَهْبَتُكُمْ

عَلَى كُلِّ حَيَوَانَاتِ الارْضِ وَكُلِّ طُيُورِ السَّمَاءِ مَعَ كُلِّ مَا يَدِبُّ عَلَى الارْضِ وَكُلِّ اسْمَاكِ

الْبَحْرِ. قَدْ دُفِعَتْ الَى ايْدِيكُمْ. كُلُّ دَابَّةٍ حَيَّةٍ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ طَعَاما. كَالْعُشْبِ الاخْضَرِ دَفَعْتُ الَيْكُمُ

الْجَمِيعَ. غَيْرَ انَّ لَحْما بِحَيَاتِهِ دَمِهِ لا تَاكُلُوهُ. وَاطْلُبُ انَا دَمَكُمْ لانْفُسِكُمْ فَقَطْ. مِنْ يَدِ كُلِّ

حَيَوَانٍ اطْلُبُهُ. وَمِنْ يَدِ الانْسَانِ اطْلُبُ نَفْسَ الانْسَانِ مِنْ يَدِ الانْسَانِ اخِيهِ. سَافِكُ دَمِ الانْسَانِ

بِالانْسَانِ يُسْفَكُ دَمُهُ. لانَّ اللهَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ عَمِلَ الانْسَانَ. فَاثْمِرُوا انْتُمْ وَاكْثُرُوا وَتَوَالَدُوا فِي

الارْضِ وَتَكَاثَرُوا فِيهَا». وَقَالَ اللهُ لِنُوحٍ وَبَنِيهِ: «وَهَا انَا مُقِيمٌ مِيثَاقِي مَعَكُمْ وَمَعَ نَسْلِكُمْ مِنْ

بَعْدِكُمْ وَمَعَ كُلِّ ذَوَاتِ الانْفُسِ الْحَيَّةِ الَّتِي مَعَكُمِْ: الطُّيُورِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ وَكُلِّ وُحُوشِ الارْضِ الَّتِي

مَعَكُمْ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْخَارِجِينَ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ حَتَّى كُلُّ حَيَوَانِ الارْضِ. اقِيمُ مِيثَاقِي مَعَكُمْ فَلا يَنْقَرِضُ

كُلُّ ذِي جَسَدٍ ايْضا بِمِيَاهِ الطُّوفَانِ. وَلا يَكُونُ ايْضا طُوفَانٌ لِيُخْرِبَ الارْضَ». وَقَالَ اللهُ: «هَذِهِ

عَلامَةُ الْمِيثَاقِ الَّذِي انَا وَاضِعُهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ كُلِّ ذَوَاتِ الانْفُسِ الْحَيَّةِ الَّتِي مَعَكُمْ الَى

اجْيَالِ الدَّهْرِ: وَضَعْتُ قَوْسِي فِي السَّحَابِ فَتَكُونُ عَلامَةَ مِيثَاقٍ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ الارْضِ. فَيَكُونُ مَتَى

انْشُرْ سَحَابا عَلَى الارْضِ وَتَظْهَرِ الْقَوْسُ فِي السَّحَابِ انِّي اذْكُرُ مِيثَاقِي الَّذِي بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ

كُلِّ نَفْسٍ حَيَّةٍ فِي كُلِّ جَسَدٍ. فَلا تَكُونُ ايْضا الْمِيَاهُ طُوفَانا لِتُهْلِكَ كُلَّ ذِي جَسَدٍ. فَمَتَى كَانَتِ

الْقَوْسُ فِي السَّحَابِ ابْصِرُهَا لاذْكُرَ مِيثَاقا ابَدِيّا بَيْنَ اللهِ وَبَيْنَ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ حَيَّةٍ فِي كُلِّ جَسَدٍ عَلَى

الارْضِ». وَقَالَ اللهُ لِنُوحٍ: «هَذِهِ عَلامَةُ الْمِيثَاقِ الَّذِي انَا اقَمْتُهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ كُلِّ ذِي جَسَدٍ عَلَى

الارْضِ». وَكَانَ بَنُو نُوحٍ الَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنَ الْفُلْكِ سَاما وَحَاما وَيَافَثَ. وَحَامٌ هُوَ ابُو كَنْعَانَ.

هَؤُلاءِ الثَّلاثَةُ هُمْ بَنُو نُوحٍ. وَمِنْ هَؤُلاءِ تَشَعَّبَتْ كُلُّ الارْضِ. وَابْتَدَا نُوحٌ يَكُونُ فَلَّاحا وَغَرَسَ

كَرْما. وَشَرِبَ مِنَ الْخَمْرِ فَسَكِرَ وَتَعَرَّى دَاخِلَ خِبَائِهِ. فَابْصَرَ حَامٌ ابُو كَنْعَانَ عَوْرَةَ ابِيهِ وَاخْبَرَ

اخَوَيْهِ خَارِجا. فَاخَذَ سَامٌ وَيَافَثُ الرِّدَاءَ وَوَضَعَاهُ عَلَى اكْتَافِهِمَا وَمَشَيَا الَى الْوَرَاءِ وَسَتَرَا عَوْرَةَ

ابِيهِمَا وَوَجْهَاهُمَا الَى الْوَرَاءِ. فَلَمْ يُبْصِرَا عَوْرَةَ ابِيهِمَا. فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ نُوحٌ مِنْ خَمْرِهِ عَلِمَ مَا

فَعَلَ بِهِ ابْنُهُ الصَّغِيرُ فَقَالَ: «مَلْعُونٌ كَنْعَانُ. عَبْدَ الْعَبِيدِ يَكُونُ لاخْوَتِهِ». وَقَالَ: «مُبَارَكٌ الرَّبُّ

الَهُ سَامٍ. وَلْيَكُنْ كَنْعَانُ عَبْدا لَهُ. لِيَفْتَحِ اللهُ لِيَافَثَ فَيَسْكُنَ فِي مَسَاكِنِ سَامٍ. وَلْيَكُنْ كَنْعَانُ عَبْدا

لَهُمْ». وَعَاشَ نُوحٌ بَعْدَ الطُّوفَانِ ثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً. فَكَانَتْ كُلُّ ايَّامِ نُوحٍ تِسْعَ مِئَةٍ

وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً وَمَاتَ.

Genesis 9

So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.* And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man. "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man. And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it."

Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying: "And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth."

And God said: "This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." And God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth."

Now the sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan. These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated. And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father's nakedness.

So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. Then he said: "Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren." And he said: "Blessed be the Lord, The God of Shem, And may Canaan be his servant. May God enlarge Japheth, And may he dwell in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant."

And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.

Kejadian 9

1 Lalu Allah memberkati Nuh dan anak-anaknya serta berfirman kepada mereka: ''Beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyaklah serta penuhilah bumi.

2 Akan takut dan akan gentar kepadamu segala binatang di bumi dan segala burung di udara, segala yang bergerak di muka bumi dan segala ikan di laut; ke dalam tanganmulah semuanya itu diserahkan.

3 Segala yang bergerak, yang hidup, akan menjadi makananmu. Aku telah memberikan semuanya itu kepadamu seperti juga tumbuh-tumbuhan hijau.

4 Hanya daging yang masih ada nyawanya, yakni darahnya, janganlah kamu makan.

5 Tetapi mengenai darah kamu, yakni nyawa kamu, Aku akan menuntut balasnya; dari segala binatang Aku akan menuntutnya, dan dari setiap manusia Aku akan menuntut nyawa sesama manusia.

6 Siapa yang menumpahkan darah manusia, darahnya akan tertumpah oleh manusia, sebab Allah membuat manusia itu menurut gambar-Nya sendiri.

7 Dan kamu, beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyak, sehingga tak terbilang jumlahmu di atas bumi, ya, bertambah banyaklah di atasnya.''

8 Berfirmanlah Allah kepada Nuh dan kepada anak-anaknya yang bersama-sama dengan dia:

9 ''Sesungguhnya Aku mengadakan perjanjian-Ku dengan kamu dan dengan keturunanmu,

10 dan dengan segala makhluk hidup yang bersama-sama dengan kamu: burung-burung, ternak dan binatang-binatang liar di bumi yang bersama-sama dengan kamu, segala yang keluar dari bahtera itu, segala binatang di bumi.

11 Maka Kuadakan perjanjian-Ku dengan kamu, bahwa sejak ini tidak ada yang hidup yang akan dilenyapkan oleh air bah lagi, dan tidak akan ada lagi air bah untuk memusnahkan bumi.''

12 Dan Allah berfirman: ''Inilah tanda perjanjian yang Kuadakan antara Aku dan kamu serta segala makhluk yang hidup, yang bersama-sama dengan kamu, turun-temurun, untuk selama-lamanya:

13 Busur-Ku Kutaruh di awan, supaya itu menjadi tanda perjanjian antara Aku dan bumi.

14 Apabila kemudian Kudatangkan awan di atas bumi dan busur itu tampak di awan,

15 maka Aku akan mengingat perjanjian-Ku yang telah ada antara Aku dan kamu serta segala makhluk yang hidup, segala yang bernyawa, sehingga segenap air tidak lagi menjadi air bah untuk memusnahkan segala yang hidup.

16 Jika busur itu ada di awan, maka Aku akan melihatnya, sehingga Aku mengingat perjanjian-Ku yang kekal antara Allah dan segala makhluk yang hidup, segala makhluk yang ada di bumi.''

17 Berfirmanlah Allah kepada Nuh: ''Inilah tanda perjanjian yang Kuadakan antara Aku dan segala makhluk yang ada di bumi.''

18 Anak-anak Nuh yang keluar dari bahtera ialah Sem, Ham dan Yafet; Ham adalah bapa Kanaan.

19 Yang tiga inilah anak-anak Nuh, dan dari mereka inilah tersebar penduduk seluruh bumi.

20 Nuh menjadi petani; dialah yang mula-mula membuat kebun anggur.

21 Setelah ia minum anggur, mabuklah ia dan ia telanjang dalam kemahnya.

22 Maka Ham, bapa Kanaan itu, melihat aurat ayahnya, lalu diceritakannya kepada kedua saudaranya di luar.

23 Sesudah itu Sem dan Yafet mengambil sehelai kain dan membentangkannya pada bahu mereka berdua, lalu mereka berjalan mundur; mereka menutupi aurat ayahnya sambil berpaling muka, sehingga mereka tidak melihat aurat ayahnya.

24 Setelah Nuh sadar dari mabuknya dan mendengar apa yang dilakukan anak bungsunya kepadanya,

25 berkatalah ia: ''Terkutuklah Kanaan, hendaklah ia menjadi hamba yang paling hina bagi saudara-saudaranya.''

26 Lagi katanya: ''Terpujilah TUHAN, Allah Sem, tetapi hendaklah Kanaan menjadi hamba baginya.

27 Allah meluaskan kiranya tempat kediaman Yafet, dan hendaklah ia tinggal dalam kemah-kemah Sem, tetapi hendaklah Kanaan menjadi hamba baginya.''

28 Nuh masih hidup tiga ratus lima puluh tahun sesudah air bah.

29 Jadi Nuh mencapai umur sembilan ratus lima puluh tahun, lalu ia mati.

ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ اللهُ نُوحا وَكُلَّ الْوُحُوشِ وَكُلَّ الْبَهَائِمِ الَّتِي مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ. وَاجَازَ اللهُ رِيحا عَلَى الارْضِ

فَهَدَاتِ الْمِيَاهُ. وَانْسَدَّتْ يَنَابِيعُ الْغَمْرِ وَطَاقَاتُ السَّمَاءِ فَامْتَنَعَ الْمَطَرُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ. وَرَجَعَتِ

الْمِيَاهُ عَنِ الارْضِ رُجُوعا مُتَوَالِيا. وَبَعْدَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ يَوْما نَقَصَتِ الْمِيَاهُ وَاسْتَقَرَّ الْفُلْكُ فِي

الشَّهْرِ السَّابِعِ فِي الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعَ عَشَرَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ عَلَى جِبَالِ ارَارَاطَ. وَكَانَتِ الْمِيَاهُ تَنْقُصُ نَقْصا

مُتَوَالِيا الَى الشَّهْرِ الْعَاشِرِ. وَفِي الْعَاشِرِ فِي اوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ ظَهَرَتْ رُؤُوسُ الْجِبَالِ. وَحَدَثَ مِنْ بَعْدِ

ارْبَعِينَ يَوْما انَّ نُوحا فَتَحَ طَاقَةَ الْفُلْكِ الَّتِي كَانَ قَدْ عَمِلَهَا وَارْسَلَ الْغُرَابَ فَخَرَجَ مُتَرَدِّدا حَتَّى

نَشِفَتِ الْمِيَاهُ عَنِ الارْضِ. ثُمَّ ارْسَلَ الْحَمَامَةَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ لِيَرَى هَلْ قَلَّتِ الْمِيَاهُ عَنْ وَجْهِ الارْضِ

فَلَمْ تَجِدِ الْحَمَامَةُ مَقَرّا لِرِجْلِهَا فَرَجَعَتْ الَيْهِ الَى الْفُلْكِ لانَّ مِيَاها كَانَتْ عَلَى وَجْهِ كُلِّ الارْضِ.

فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ وَاخَذَهَا وَادْخَلَهَا عِنْدَهُ الَى الْفُلْكِ. فَلَبِثَ ايْضا سَبْعَةَ ايَّامٍ اخَرَ وَعَادَ فَارْسَلَ الْحَمَامَةَ

مِنَ الْفُلْكِ فَاتَتْ الَيْهِ الْحَمَامَةُ عِنْدَ الْمَسَاءِ وَاذَا وَرَقَةُ زَيْتُونٍ خَضْرَاءُ فِي فَمِهَا. فَعَلِمَ نُوحٌ انَّ

الْمِيَاهَ قَدْ قَلَّتْ عَنِ الارْضِ. فَلَبِثَ ايْضا سَبْعَةَ ايَّامٍ اخَرَ وَارْسَلَ الْحَمَامَةَ فَلَمْ تَعُدْ تَرْجِعُ الَيْهِ

ايْضا. وَكَانَ فِي السَّنَةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ وَالسِّتِّ مِئَةٍ فِي الشَّهْرِ الاوَّلِ فِي اوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ انَّ الْمِيَاهَ نَشِفَتْ عَنِ

الارْضِ. فَكَشَفَ نُوحٌ الْغِطَاءَ عَنِ الْفُلْكِ وَنَظَرَ فَاذَا وَجْهُ الارْضِ قَدْ نَشِفَ. وَفِي الشَّهْرِ الثَّانِي فِي

الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعِ وَالْعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ جَفَّتِ الارْضُ. وَامَرَ اللهُ نُوحا: «اخْرُجْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ انْتَ

وَامْرَاتُكَ وَبَنُوكَ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِيكَ مَعَكَ. وَكُلَّ الْحَيَوَانَاتِ الَّتِي مَعَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِي جَسَدٍ: الطُّيُورِ

وَالْبَهَائِمِ وَكُلَّ الدَّبَّابَاتِ الَّتِي تَدُبُّ عَلَى الارْضِ اخْرِجْهَا مَعَكَ. وَلْتَتَوَالَدْ فِي الارْضِ وَتُثْمِرْ

وَتَكْثُرْ عَلَى الارْضِ». فَخَرَجَ نُوحٌ وَبَنُوهُ وَامْرَاتُهُ وَنِسَاءُ بَنِيهِ مَعَهُ. وَكُلُّ الْحَيَوَانَاتِ وَكُلُّ

الطُّيُورِ كُلُّ مَا يَدِبُّ عَلَى الارْضِ كَانْوَاعِهَا خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ. وَبَنَى نُوحٌ مَذْبَحا لِلرَّبِّ. وَاخَذَ

مِنْ كُلِّ الْبَهَائِمِ الطَّاهِرَةِ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الطُّيُورِ الطَّاهِرَةِ وَاصْعَدَ مُحْرَقَاتٍ عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ فَتَنَسَّمَ

الرَّبُّ رَائِحَةَ الرِّضَا. وَقَالَ الرَّبُّ فِي قَلْبِهِ: «لا اعُودُ الْعَنُ الارْضَ ايْضا مِنْ اجْلِ الانْسَانِ لانَّ

تَصَوُّرَ قَلْبِ الانْسَانِ شِرِّيرٌ مُنْذُ حَدَاثَتِهِ. وَلا اعُودُ ايْضا امِيتُ كُلَّ حَيٍّ كَمَا فَعَلْتُ. مُدَّةَ كُلِّ ايَّامِ

الارْضِ زَرْعٌ وَحَصَادٌ وَبَرْدٌ وَحَرٌّ وَصَيْفٌ وَشِتَاءٌ وَنَهَارٌ وَلَيْلٌ لا تَزَالُ».

Genesis 8

Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters decreased.

Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.

So it came to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. Then he sent out a raven, which kept going to and fro until the waters had dried up from the earth. He also sent out from himself a dove, to see if the waters had receded from the face of the ground. But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, and she returned into the ark to him, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her, and drew her into the ark to himself. And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark. Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.

And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and indeed the surface of the ground was dry. And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried.

Then God spoke to Noah, saying, "Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth." So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him. Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done. "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease."

Kejadian 8

1 Maka Allah mengingat Nuh dan segala binatang liar dan segala ternak, yang bersama-sama dengan dia dalam bahtera itu, dan Allah membuat angin menghembus melalui bumi, sehingga air itu turun.

2 Ditutuplah mata-mata air samudera raya serta tingkap-tingkap di langit dan berhentilah hujan lebat dari langit,

3 dan makin surutlah air itu dari muka bumi. Demikianlah berkurang air itu sesudah seratus lima puluh hari.

4 Dalam bulan yang ketujuh, pada hari yang ketujuh belas bulan itu, terkandaslah bahtera itu pada pegunungan Ararat.

5 Sampai bulan yang kesepuluh makin berkuranglah air itu; dalam bulan yang kesepuluh, pada tanggal satu bulan itu, tampaklah puncak-puncak gunung.

6 Sesudah lewat empat puluh hari, maka Nuh membuka tingkap yang dibuatnya pada bahtera itu.

7 Lalu ia melepaskan seekor burung gagak; dan burung itu terbang pulang pergi, sampai air itu menjadi kering dari atas bumi.

8 Kemudian dilepaskannya seekor burung merpati untuk melihat, apakah air itu telah berkurang dari muka bumi.

9 Tetapi burung merpati itu tidak mendapat tempat tumpuan kakinya dan pulanglah ia kembali mendapatkan Nuh ke dalam bahtera itu, karena di seluruh bumi masih ada air; lalu Nuh mengulurkan tangannya, ditangkapnya burung itu dan dibawanya masuk ke dalam bahtera.

10 Ia menunggu tujuh hari lagi, kemudian dilepaskannya pula burung merpati itu dari bahtera;

11 menjelang waktu senja pulanglah burung merpati itu mendapatkan Nuh, dan pada paruhnya dibawanya sehelai daun zaitun yang segar. Dari situlah diketahui Nuh, bahwa air itu telah berkurang dari atas bumi.

12 Selanjutnya ditunggunya pula tujuh hari lagi, kemudian dilepaskannya burung merpati itu, tetapi burung itu tidak kembali lagi kepadanya.

13 Dalam tahun keenam ratus satu, dalam bulan pertama, pada tanggal satu bulan itu, sudahlah kering air itu dari atas bumi; kemudian Nuh membuka tutup bahtera itu dan melihat-lihat; ternyatalah muka bumi sudah mulai kering.

14 Dalam bulan kedua, pada hari yang kedua puluh tujuh bulan itu, bumi telah kering.

15 Lalu berfirmanlah Allah kepada Nuh:

16 ''Keluarlah dari bahtera itu, engkau bersama-sama dengan isterimu serta anak-anakmu dan isteri anak-anakmu;

17 segala binatang yang bersama-sama dengan engkau, segala yang hidup: burung-burung, hewan dan segala binatang melata yang merayap di bumi, suruhlah keluar bersama-sama dengan engkau, supaya semuanya itu berkeriapan di bumi serta berkembang biak dan bertambah banyak di bumi.''

18 Lalu keluarlah Nuh bersama-sama dengan anak-anaknya dan isterinya dan isteri anak-anaknya.

19 Segala binatang liar, segala binatang melata dan segala burung, semuanya yang bergerak di bumi, masing-masing menurut jenisnya, keluarlah juga dari bahtera itu.

20 Lalu Nuh mendirikan mezbah bagi TUHAN; dari segala binatang yang tidak haram dan dari segala burung yang tidak haram diambilnyalah beberapa ekor, lalu ia mempersembahkan korban bakaran di atas mezbah itu.

21 Ketika TUHAN mencium persembahan yang harum itu, berfirmanlah TUHAN dalam hati-Nya: ''Aku takkan mengutuk bumi ini lagi karena manusia, sekalipun yang ditimbulkan hatinya adalah jahat dari sejak kecilnya, dan Aku takkan membinasakan lagi segala yang hidup seperti yang telah Kulakukan.

22 Selama bumi masih ada, takkan berhenti-henti musim menabur dan menuai, dingin dan panas, kemarau dan hujan, siang dan malam.''
